Hairballs and Sneezes

the culprits

Okay, only MacKenzie may relate to this story. I'm sitting in bed this a.m. cuz I have a terrible sore throat and I feel horrible and I'm trying to get better before I have to go to Omaha and get my hair trimmed. So I'm lazily laying in bed reading my Heaven book. Well, first of all, all last night I can hear Emma hacking away trying to throw up. But I feel so terrible I can't even get out of bed to check on her (Mac can relate!).... so anyway this morning as I'm stumbling back to bed with my coffee I step in pile number one of throw up. Later she comes and hacks up a second pile of mucus and later a giant hairball... which, I'm thinking is the root of her problem. So, I lock her in the bathroom to save my sanity and my carpets. So, Bella and I doze and read for a while. Then I get up to get breakfast and Bella is whining at me, obviously upset that I've locked her sister in the bathroom. So, okay, I let her out. So, Emma comes out and lays by the door to sleep. She doesn't vomit any more but proceeds to serenade us with her "farting" for the rest of the morning!!! Meanwhile, Miss Isabella comes up to cuddle on my lap while I'm answering some emails and searching for my tailor's phone number and low and behold decides to have a sneezing fit (because she too is sick) all over my computer!!!! Ahhh, yes, peaceful and quiet empty nesting with two cats... is this blog worthy?? People will think I'm nuts!!!
definitely blog worthy. even if i'm the only person that can relate.... ;)
ReplyDeleteI had no idea you had a blog! I'm definitely following!
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny, I can relate. We have 3 dogs and they too have left us gifts in the night only to be found by a naked foot stumbling around in the dark morning hours.
ReplyDeletehahaha ... soo funny! sorry that the three of you do not feel good. at least you all have each other to be miserable with. :) i'm praying for emma!!!
