God's unfailing love and grace...

So, we're at the end of feeling sick at our house. Bella is back to her crazy ways and Emma is on the mend after one last visit to Dr. Donovan this morning.... oh my!! Long, long weekend. I took this cute picture because every time we came home from the Emergency Vet Hospital or Dr. Donovan's with Emma, Isabella would hop right in the carrier and sit there for about an hour. I'm not sure if it was a sympathy "sit in" or a protest that next time you take my sister I'm going too. But it was without fail that she did this. Animals are amazing and I'm finding this so true with my daughter's cats Zoe and Jasmine. Zoe, Mallory's cat has moved in with Jasmine, MacKenzie's cat, to take care of her in her old age. She does a good job of it too. She dotes on her, helps her eat, kisses her and watches her when she throws up in a consoling way and cuddles with her when she's feeling sleepy. Truly, I think God created these little creatures to show us so much of his unfailing love and grace.

  1. what a sweet sister! i love that bella is holding a "sit in". what a doll. i think she's doing it for both reasons - sympathy AND an anti-separation demand! ;) i agree that these little gifts are more than some fur and a cuddle. God is so good to us!
